Sound of Us: Us #2 is an absolutely must read for anyone who read the first. I absolutely loved it. And if you haven't read the first then you really should! Book one brings our triad together and book two really cements the relationship. It was so awesome and heartwarming (as well as hot ;) ) to watch them learn to trust each other, have confidence in who they are in the relationship as well as who they are individually, to see the relationship really blossom as they each put aside insecurities and just give in to what they want. I loved everything about it. Lovable characters. Realism, detail and depth to the writing. A whole range of emotions and feels from sexy times, to casual everyday hanging out cooking dinner and cuddling on the couch watching tv, to tug your heartstrings life is hard moments. I have no exposure or firsthand experience with the particular lifestyles these men live but the inner struggles, the life issues they work through are relatable to everyone. Wanting to be loved. Trying to find your place in the world as well as in relationships. Fearing what others think. Overcoming past hurts and insecurities and loving who you are and trusting who you're with. I just always love A.M. Arthur's books because I know I'm going to care about the characters, understand them, root for them, cry with them, laugh with and sometimes at them, I'm going to believe the love they have for each other, and I'm going to have a smile on my face and a warm and happy feeling in my heart when the story is done and I know they are being loved and living happily.Did I fall in love? With all three of them
Would I re-read? Absolutely!
Were there moments- sad, funny, sweet, fantasy fueling- that I replay? That's another yes :)
Was it worth the price I paid? Yes, in fact I received an advanced readers copy but still bought the book.

This book was so good. I think that it was even better than the first one. Chet,Chris and Jake are so good together. They're perfect for each other. They make each other happy and I'm hoping there's another book about them
So glad to finish the story about these guys. Loved the first one and this one even more , because you got deeper into each man. Really got to know them. The way the relationship between the 3 of them developed was so good. Between each couple and the 3 as a unit. Loved it ! Loved it !
This is the conclusion of Jake, Cris and Charles' love story. You will feel their agony and accomplishments but most of all the love they finally let themselves feel for each other as they travel their road to a happily ever after
The love story of these three wonderful men continues, and I fell in love with them even more! If you love gay romance and menage, I highly recommend this one. It's a May/September/December, and each character is so different. It's one of my favorite books. A.M. Arthur is a fantastic storyteller, and I look forward to each new storyby her.
The best thing about this book...besides the plot, the loving, the growing trust among the men and the wonderful explanation of bipolar disorder...is the wonderful dialogue.
At no time is it forced or stilted. All exchanges came across fluid and natural. So did their reactions in every situation.
I love to read about my three favorite guys. I was scared that jake recent diagnosis would break them all apart or Chris secrets would rip them into different directions. But it didn't. I feel like Chet words knew how to keep everyone leveled and that each person in the relationship brings something to the table that each one needs from the other. I was thinking no this is going to end very bad. I wish we knew more about Chet pass. I wanted to know what Dell went through that night but know a bit of it was wow. Love it. Must read for those who haven't.
Was a bit surprised by how much sex was in this one especially compared to the last. I love how the author explores the insecurities and troubles of each man. Things like Jake's bipolar disorder don't completely fade off into the background because it was a big issue in the previous book. I also like how various sexualities are handled in this book. Being on the asexual spectrum myself I find that no one wants to include that sexuality in their books. So to have it be an active role in the book is nice to see. I would've liked to see what the rest of Dell's story and found it odd that it was cut off. Also a big love of the cooking passion going on in this book. Great job Jake realizing home prepared food tastes so much better!
